My first complete army. I started collecting/painting and playing Warhammer 40.000 with them in 2002, until about 2005/2006, when I switched to Warhammer Fantasy.
The Orks were unused in a box for years, until I started playing Deadzone in 2016, where I’m using them as Marauders.
Used Colors
In case you're interested (but mainly as a reference for my future self), here are the colors I used:
- black primer for everything
Ork skin:
- GW Dark Angels Green
- drybrush with GW Goblin Green
Bases:
- GW Bubonic Brown / Vallejo Plague Brown
- drybrush with GW Bleached Bone / Vallejo Bonewhite
